W chwili obecnej przenoszone są serwery gry. Będą dostępne z powrotem we wtorek.
Serwery zostały przeniesione i można już grać. Koniecznie trzeba najpierw uruchomić patchera KDR!

Przez ostatni tydzień głównie liczyliśmy, szukaliśmy tańszego hostingu, dzwoniliśmy tu i tam, załatwialiśmy formalności, a także czekaliśmy na wpłaty od Was.

Ostatecznie znaleźliśmy bardziej dopasowany do naszych aktualnych potrzeb i - co najważniejsze - tańszy serwer dla KDR i Dark KDR. Serwer znajduje się w Polsce, więc nie będziemy narażeni na wzrost ceny gdy osłabi się złotówka, a i pingi powinny być lepsze niż do serwerów zagranicznych.

Dzięki Waszym wpłatom w tej chwili jesteśmy w stanie opłacić serwer przez 2 najbliższe miesiące (czyli kwiecień i maj) i jest już nawet niecała połowa kwoty na czerwiec.

W tej chwili czekamy aż zamówiony serwer zostanie przygotowany przez firmę hostingową. Następnie zajmiemy się przenoszeniem wszystkiego na nową maszynę. Zaczniemy od domeny, strony www, forum, patchera (jeśli wszystko pójdzie zgodnie z planem, to najprawdopodobniej dzisiaj, możliwe są jednak przerwy w działaniu strony/forum oraz lagi w grze). Następnie przeniesiemy serwery gry - postaramy się nie robić tego w “godzinach szczytu”, jednak ze względu na to, że z obecnego serwera możemy korzystać jedynie do końca miesiąca i nie możemy pozwolić sobie na opóźnienia, będziemy to robić w pierwszym dogodnym momencie i najszybciej jak się da. O postępach w przeprowadzce będziemy informować na bieżąco.

Cały czas również zastanawiamy się nad Waszymi propozycjami i pomysłami na poprawę sytuacji, przede wszystkim tymi na przyciągnięcie większej ilości graczy na serwery. Na dobre będziemy mogli się tym zająć jednak dopiero po całkowitym przeniesieniu na nowy serwer.

Not more than a month ago I wrote:

I remind, both KDR and Dark KDR players , about paying the fees for February, the server stash is almost empty. Because of the rising Euro value, the fees in zlotys are getting higher and now we need about 275 zl per month.

Till the end of February we have to gather the money for March check. As from March, it is required for the sums to last for the next two following months (because of the way we square up with the hosting company).

We gathered the money for March. We received the last donation on the 2nd of March. Three weeks passed since then, and the server receipt didn’t move an inch.
We lack the money to pay for the servers in April, not to mention the following months.

Perhaps everybody is not aware that gathering the money from one month to another cant be a general rule. Firstly because it discourages people to play – they are not sure whether they will be able to play and the server will be on. Secondly, to resigning from the hoster, cant be done in one day – even if we won’t have the money, we have to pay for the server. Because of that we have to have the money for the two next following months, so we can resign from the contract with a monthly dismissal notice .

I’ll try to explain it in the easiest way I can:
As I declared in February, till the end of March we have to gather the cash for at least April and May. At the moment we lack about 450 zł.
The time we have left to gather the money is one week. It’s only a week, because we need a few days at the end of the month to make decisions and perform actions.
The case involves both servers. It’s not only about KDR or Dark KDR

If we won’t be able to gather the money, the servers will lose their hosting with the end of March. What will happen then – its up to you, your proposals to solve the problem, and financial aid. Without the money surely the servers will be shut down. For how long we cannot foretell.

If someone would wonder, if we have other choices… no, practically we don’t. To find a cheaper server we have to have a sum of money at our disposal, at least for two months, not to mention the activation fees. Anything ain’t enough: we need a good connection, a large disc and a location in Europe. I didn’t find anything interesting for a reasonable price. If somebody wants to help to search – there is no problem, just paste links in comments. Perhaps you’ll find something.

I thought that a serious subject, like finances, is a good occasion to sum what happened on KDR and Dark KDR from the start of the present year.
It’s not in my manner to glorify myself, but I think that lastly we did a really good job. You cant say that KDR and DKDR are under-developed and not frequently actualized. Or that we don’t value players words and proposals. In regard to novelty we are in front eAthena and our competition :)

Well, just judge yourself. Here is a juxtaposition of the most important things we did on the servers in January, February and March.

  • 15th March - God Items Quest
  • 6th March - Endless Tower, removing the @at fee on KDR
  • 4th March - making all GDs available on WoE 1.0, updated castle scripts, added command @showzeny, on KDR WoE 1.0 castles reduced to one.
  • 2th March - Pet Improvement System, Repeatable Exp Quests on KDR, improving the success chance for cooking and intimacy growth rate on DKDR
  • 26th February - new commands for players and NPCn Options
  • 22th February - removing the auction fee, adding the auction NPC in Prontera
  • 19th February - Moscovia, new item drops, new items in Karfa Shop
  • 18th February - Initiating the Auctioneer
  • 30th January - finishing the winter event
  • 21th January - MVP respawn update
  • 16th January - two new quests
  • 9th January - eight new quests
  • 6th January - War of Emperium: Second Edition

And thats not the end, because till the end of march we still have a few days.

SleipnirGods in their generosity, allowed human ambition to grow its wings and permitted to research the ancient artifacts and attributes of gods power. The Kingdom of Rune-Midgard and Schwarzwald Republic got teemed with scientists and historians. There and then you can even meet a sturdy dwarfish smithy.

Join them, and perhaps you will be the one to penetrate the secrets of the power of old gods.

To the Control Panel, a frame was added, called Seal status with the current progress of four quests included in the God Items Quest chain.

In the night, between Thursday and Friday, at 1am, or a bit later, a technical restart will occur. Referring to that, we ask you not to start trips to Endless Tower after 9 pm, because there won’t be enough time to finish it before the restart.
